I’m a journalism sophomore at the University of Oklahoma. I have a passion for newspaper and broadcast and as of recently video and blogging.

I’ve done freelance two summers in a row. I can claim several front page stories. I just finished up a summer internship at an ABC affiliate news station in Abilene, TX. I wrote and helped edit a package for the spanish news.  I learned how to edit tapes and how to use a camera.  I was the multicultural reporter for The Daily during the fall 2008 semester.  I am also the cut-in anchor/producer for OU Nightly’s spanish cut in, Noticias Breves.

I hope to one day be a spanish/english reporter and someday anchor. I would like to work for a larger news company like CNN, FOX, ABC, etcetera. My dream job would be taking over Samantha Brown’s show off the Travel Channel. I’m a hard worker, dedicated, and learn quickly.
